I’m Cindy Hoang, a fourth-year Graphic Design student at California College of the Arts. ₊˚⊹

I'm a versatile designer with experience in marketing, brand identity, print design, typography, and more. My work centers on crafting memorable experiences through clarity and strong identity.

Being the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, my upbringing has played a significant role in shaping my design perspective, teaching me to approach challenges with resilience. My ambition reflects the determination and creativity I’ve inherited from my roots.

This mindset is represented through my personal symbol being a phoenix, known for rising from the ashes to shed old ideas and emerge with renewed insights. I always strive to carry these traits into my design practice.

Outside of my academic life, I enjoy crafting handmade beaded keychains! Pictured above are some pieces I’ve made this past year. This process complements my design work, as it lets me explore color combinations, patterns, and textures in a more tangible manner.
