Restaurant Identity
I designed an identity for a fictional café inspired by the Vietnamese Modernism painting movement of the early to mid-19th century. This style blends traditional Vietnamese techniques with European modernist traits, often depicting nature, flowers, and women.
The café is named “Hoa Lan,” meaning “orchid” in Vietnamese, reflecting the floral and feminine motifs of the era. The logo combines an orchid with a lantern to symbolize femininity, self-discovery, and finding one’s light.
