I’m Cindy Hoang, a third-year Graphic Design student at California College of the Arts! ₊˚⊹

As a versatile designer, I love experimenting with different styles and processes, including brand identity, logo design, typography, and more! I’m passionate about crafting memorable, comprehensible, and vibrant design experiences that reflect the resilience and creativity I’ve inherited from my Vietnamese roots.

Being the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, my cultural heritage plays a significant role in influencing my design perspective. Raised in a family shaped by perseverance, I’ve learned to approach challenges with creativity and determination.
This mindset is represented through my personal symbol being a phoenix, as they rise from the ashes to shed old ideas and emerge with renewed insights. I always strive to carry these traits into my design practice.

Outside of my academic life, my current craft obsession is making beaded keychains! It allows me to unwind while creating thoughtful, personalized gifts for friends and family. Making keychains complements my design work, as it lets me explore color combinations, patterns, and textures in a more physical manner.
