A Man of Two Faces
Book Redesign

I redesigned the book A Man of Two Faces, a memoir by Viet Thanh Nguyen about his experiences assimilating in San José, California as a refugee. 

The redesigned cover is meant to symbolize the layered complexity of Viet’s experiences. Each torn and taped element represents fragments of identity, memory, migration, and displacement. Additionally, I typeset the book’s interior pages.
